I have been thinking and that too a lot. I don't know what's got into me lately – there is something in the air that is making me think... and I finally decided to let it out! Yes, I am talking about Valentine's Day. There is just over a week and a half left for 'Love Day', and wherever I go, there is a sense of suppressed excitement in the air. It's like something has to be done, before it's too late.
I guess, I have been rambling but where love is concerned, the distinction between friends also tend to get blurred. Like I mentioned a couple of posts back - what is actually the difference between love and friendship, and if we have to answer this question, we can no way avoid raising the issue of man-women relationships. Other that of a spouse and a lover, can a platonic friendship exist between a man and a woman. If it can, then upto what level, and upto what time.
Remember the line from 'When Harry Met Sally' where Harry said that men and women can never be friends because sex always gets in the way – and it turned out to be true for him. But away from the movies and in the real world, how much truth is there in what he said? This what I will be trying to answer, so keep up with me for my next posts!
